Hello

Welcome to MORE: Mental Health Online Resources for Educators

We’re thrilled that you’re here.

What is it that you want to learn today? With over 60 free, evidence-based, clinically reviewed courses on topics ranging from child development to educator self-care to substance use and more, we aim to equip you with the resources you need for school & student wellness.

Ready to get started? Simply register and/or log in, then enroll in as many courses as you like. It’s that simple. There is no limit to the number of courses you can take, or when you take them.

Not only that, but as an Alberta Health Services Mental Health & Substance Use Collaborative Initiatives program, we’ve got amazing partners with even more resources. Check us out under the “MORE INFORMATION” tab above.

Please note our site is not fully mobile-ready and works best on a laptop or desktop computer.

We’re featuring two courses from our library this month, both focused on starting this year off well.

Mindfulness for Anxiety Management is a 5-minute micro-course to jumpstart your day or share with your wider school community.

Wellness: Hitting the Happiness Button is a longer look at the role of positive psychology in creating a healthy, vibrant school & workplace.

September Featured Courses

September 30: National Truth & Reconciliation Day

This week, we join educators and school communities across Alberta in preparing for and acknowledging September 30: National Truth & Reconciliation Day. As we engage in various reflections, lessons and activities, remembering those that did not survive residential school and honouring their family and friends who grieve their loss, may we increase our ability to deeply and authentically address the harms that have occurred and convey that indeed every child matters.

Each school district/board will have chosen ways to reflect this day and we encourage educators to engage deeply with local resources and activities, specifically and particularly those that are Indigenous-led.
